Head upstairs at The Hare and you will find our Private Dining Room, with a beautiful view over the village of Farndon, the church steeple and the river below. The room can seat up to 16 and is perfect for those who would like a little more privacy, away from the bar.

The best Sunday lunches have always been those spent around a large table, where the focus is on good company and the simple pleasure of a meal shared.
The Hare Sunday Service is our tribute to the traditional family roast. Held exclusively in our Private Dining Room, this is a dedicated sharing service designed to bring people back together. There are no individual menus to navigate; instead, we curate a complete Sunday spread, brought to your table on large platters and serving bowls for you to enjoy at your own pace.
It is the comfort of a home-cooked meal, delivered with the care and quality of our kitchen.
The Service Structure
To ensure you have the time to sit back and enjoy your afternoon we host three distinct sittings every Sunday. Each sitting offers your group exclusive use of our Private Dining Room.
12:00 pm | 3:00 pm | 6:00 pm
Our chefs prepare a selection of meats and seasonal accompaniments. Everything, from the crispest roast potatoes to our signature gravy and greens, is placed in the centre of the table.
