Local Walks

Our pub is set in the idyllic Cheshire village of Farndon, surrounded by beautiful countryside, whilst the River Dee sets the pace of life here meandering past us every day.  What better base can you find to explore the area than the village pub, with a hot cup of tea to see you on your  way and a well-deserved lunch on your return.  We have three walks of varying length for you to set  out and explore the area taking around 2 hours or so.

It’s easy to see the Church towers from most points on the walks so it’s quite tricky to get very lost. All walks  are on public rights of way, but animals may be grazing  in some of the fields, and some of the road crossings can  be busy so please take care.

We’ve tried to provide a couple of quick detours back  to the village if you need them too. Enjoy our little  corner of the world, and we’ll see you when you get  back!
